Tijdens de Haagse Pop Nach in Paard van Troje werden zaterdag 22 oktober de Haagse Pop Prijzen uitgereikt. AAPNOOTMIES mocht de prijs in de categorie Aanstormend Talent in ontvangst nemen. De award werd uitgereikt door Camiel Meiresonne (Son Mieux), de winnaar van vorig jaar. De winnaars van de Haagse Pop Prijzen zijn verkozen tijdens het Haags Overleg Popmuziek, het overleg waar alle Haagse popmuziekorganisaties aanwezig zijn.

Voor AAPNOOTMIES is het de kers op de taart van het debuutjaar van de band. Precies een jaar geleden verscheen de eerste single Mevrouw Vandaag Gaat ’t Om Jou, gevolgd door het debuutalbum in maart en de singles Supersoakerkracht en onlangs ook Saartje Kom Je Buiten Spelen. Met meer dan 60 shows waaronder op Oerol, Parkpop, Westerpop en Sniester, voorprogramma’s van DI-RECT en Maaike Ouboter, de finales van de Grote Prijs van Nederland en de Sena Performers PopNL Award en het touren door Nederland met de Popronde kende AAPNOOTMIES dit jaar een fijne start. Het winnen van de Haagse Pop Prijs is een mooie kers op een al heerlijke taart.
